The valley of the Greybull River in Northwestern Wyoming has been the headquarters of the Pitchfork Ranch since 1878 when ground was broken on the first cabin. The choice for a ranch was well made as grass, fresh water, and natural shelter were abundant across the wide valley. An area that was home to so many species seemed an excellent place to raise cattle, and so began the Pitchfork Ranch.

Many things have changed in the valley over the past 144 years but our goal has always remained the same: to raise quality cattle while being responsible stewards of the land. We believe environmental stewardship is integral to a successful cattle operation and is the reason we are able to continue to provide a quality product year after year. We started our branded beef program with the intention of providing our community with some of the highest quality, ethically raised beef available on the market and we can't wait to share it with you!

We will ship each Monday with dry ice to ensure your beef arrives frozen on your door step! Very rarely we will run into a day we're too busy to ship on Monday and in that case we will ship on Tuesday.
