Each year, thousands of small-scale, family-owned cattle ranchers go out of business. Meanwhile, the same four meat-packing corporations are seeing record revenues.
It’s now or never to become part of the solution.
It’s simple: Buying meat directly from the farmer helps save the farm.
Direct purchases from the source, like the ones you make through Range Market, boost sustainability of an entire way of life for family farmers.

Our why on the production side is just as simple:
Farmers and ranchers we work with are experts at raising cattle, crops, and other livestock. But direct-to-consumer marketing isn’t always in their wheelhouse.
At Range Market, we’re providing the technology and tools for those farmers to
reach wider markets, increase their margins, and ensure longevity.
Buying meat from the grocery store is the easy status quo.
But buying from Range Market is good for the mind, body, and soul.
Knowledge about exactly where your food came from and how it was made
Nutritious, high-quality meats that align with whatever production practice (grass-fed, free range, etc) you want
Reassurance that you’ve helped add to the bottom line of a family farm doing things the right way
We do all the work to find farmers and ranchers in your area.
All you have to do is click… and eat.
We have guidelines in place to ensure you are getting a great product that aligns with the values important to both to you, and us.
High production standards lead to high-quality meat. Our seller agreements lay out all health and safety rules they have to follow for treating their animals (for example, all beef producers must follow Beef Quality Assurance guidelines). At any time, the Range Market team can do an on-site farm visit to ensure animals are safe, healthy, and happy.
Producers have to follow all state or federal regulations around processing animals and shipping meat products across state lines. You may want to purchase directly from your community, or try something special from a state over so we make sure there’s never any red tape. All of the meat on Range Market is USDA inspected and certified.
Each farm in the Range marketplace is run by hard-working families passionate about their farms, animals, communitiesand putting great products on your table. They’re also always willing to answer your questions and share their stories. Learn more about each Range producer on their individual storefront, and feel free to drop them a line individually.
Every product our ranchers want to sell on the marketplace is tested by our team to ensure high quality. We’ll never sell anything we haven’t eaten and loved ourselves.
Ranch-raised, a producer herself, and a total ribeye lover, Cassi brings that same passion she has for raising cattle and devouring a great steak to creating a platform that unites her fellow ranchers with her fellow steak lovers. Her day job keeps her smack dab in the middle of the beef industry as well, as she works for a global animal health company and helps producers keep their animals healthy and thriving.

Cassi’s overall vision includes having each person who buys meat from this website to feel as connected to the ranch as she does the minute she turns onto that gravel road that takes her home to her family ranch. She hopes to create awareness and transparency around where our food comes from.
Cassi calls the great state of Montana home now where her and her husband, Bill, are raising the next generation of cowboys and cattlemen.
A producer on Range Market herself, Lindsey spends her days managing the day-to-day operations at the Pitchfork Ranch and marketing their branded beef program.
At the forefront of her priorities for Range Market is connecting producers that put their heart and soul into their operation to consumers that care where their protein is coming from. Anyone can head to the grocery store and grab meat off the shelves but providing customers with a unique farm-to-table experience is what she is truly passionate about.

There’s nothing that quite satisfies like beef and to Lindsey, a new york steak is the perfect treat at the end of a long day.
